IHC YL course at BKC-IH Teacher Training Centre (Spring 2005)
With an ever increasing demand for qualified teachers of English to YL in Russia as well as around the world, BKC-IH Teacher Training Centre has started running the IH course for teaching Young Learners – IHCYL. This year the Center has already been running the IHCYL course second time.
The certificate that looks great on a CV
I’ve been teaching kids, ages 3 to 16, for about two years now, and I’ve just received the IHC YL. I can honestly say that the course is worth the time and money: regardless of the experience you have going in, you leave with a better understanding of YL learning characteristics and what it takes to teach them successfully. And it’s a well-known and well-respected certificate that looks great on a CV – especially given the fact that YL teaching is becoming more and more important in the ESL market.

Why IHCYL
Many BKC teachers took this course this spring. Completing the course gives EFL teachers additional skills and qualifications to teach English to Young Learners anywhere in the world. It gives also an additional chance to be accepted as a full-time teacher of English to Young Learners. In addition BKC-IH offers a full-time YL Teacher’s contract as well as the more general teaching contract.
