English classes for BKC administration
This summer about 30 members of BKC administration took English classes with BKC teachers. The decision was made based on teachers' feedback on the results of the school year. It was a good opportunity to raise the level of English for administration as well as to see the lesson "from inside"- from the point of view of student-teacher communication.
This summer all the local organisers took a short course to raise their level of English. I taught the elementaries, who were great fun, very friendly and learnt very quickly. Now I am confident they can all communicate in good English what needs to be done in their schools. This should be a great help to teachers, and make starting work here a little easier, especially for those with no Russian.
