About Globus School
As part of BKC-International house, Globus School of Modern languages offers classes in more languages and with a wider choice of courses than any other in Russia. Our professional administrative staff ensures that students are placed in the programme best suited to your individual needs where our experienced native teachers use the latest tutoring methods and resources.
The school itself is modern, newly decorated and equipped with all the latest teaching aids and resources that are necessary for language teaching in the twenty first century.
Communication
The most popular courses are French, German, Spanish and Italian though in addition, Greek, Arabic, Japanese and Chinese can also be studied. In our continued programme of expansion we are also looking to add Turkish and Portuguese to our curriculum, which are popular both as tourist destinations and due to the business links Russia has with Turkey and traditional ties with countries such as Angola.
Naturally, with so many visitors to Moscow nowadays for work or pleasure whether sort or long term, demand for our Russian courses is also increasing and we hope to start a new weekend intensive for absolute beginners who wish to understand the basic of this difficult yet rewarding tongue which will undoubtedly increase the enjoyment of the Russian experience.
We will take an absolute beginner through to advanced level in the language of their choice with the additional possibility of studying for exams such as German ZMP, ZOP or Italian CILS. Our groups are from five to twelve persons or alternatively our students can choose to learn on a one to one basis. Ages also vary from children through to adults.
Ideal Location
The school itself, on Tverskaya Ulitsa, is only a stone's throw away from one of the most prominent squares in the capital, Pushinskaya Ploshad, in the midst of a multitude of shops, bars and restaurants adjacent to the charming leafy boulevard of Moscow's garden ring. The local metro stations of Tverskaya, Pushkinskaya and Chekovskaya on lines two, seven and nine respectively, offer rapid access from all parts of the city whilst many of the city's attractions such as Red Square are only a ten minute walk away.
Should our students not wish to travel into the centre and would like a course in their local area, we can also arrange to do this, for example in places of work or in local schools all of which are readily accessible by metro.
